Hey guys,
Just got my hinge trigger. I have read around saying that the hoses on the 4 way needed to be switched around. how do i go about doing this?
What hose needs to go where, er....what do i have to do?
thanks!

switch around the hoses that connect the x-way to the ram. Just pull out the valve-end connections and wsitch the around, but leave the ram-end connections in place

To actually switch the hoses, you need fresh heads (metal rings) for the hoses, and possibly new hoses. Oh, you also need some needle-nose pliers.

why would you have to switch the hoses around and also how much do they affect the timing i heard you have to change the timing with a hinge and i was just wonderin

Because the Hinge pushes the three-way to fire as opposed to a sliding trigger which pulls it. The 3 way controls where gas goes and when, if the trigger cycle has been reversed then so does the hoses.

yes, whenever you change something on an autococker it must be timed.

Look up, it says it right here. He already said why you have to change the three-way on a cocker.

yes, they are right, but if you have a shocktech 3-way, and a hinge trigger, you leave them the way they are and dont change them. A shocktech 3 way makes you have to switch them around, and the hinge does too, so your back where you started.
You do have to retime your gun. You will have to lengthin the lug, and prob adjust the timing rod.
You leave the reg hose in the middle, and swap the ram hoses.
