You should be fine. I doubt you'll chop THAT much. Unless you plan on walking the trigger often...then you'll probly chop cuz w/o vision your loader won't keep up

Get yourself an egg 2 or halo and you should be fine.
The board really has nothing to do with how it chops. Its not like the board glitches sometimes causing the gun to chop. Its if your hopper can keep up with how fast you shoot. If your never shooting over 10 bps your not gonna chop. and if youve gotta halo you really dont even need vision. Eggy 2 will be fine also unless you can really rip on your trigger.

It also depends on the feed neck, and since I assume you'd be keeping the new Rat feed neck, you may chop with an Egg2, but you'd definitely be fine with a Halo B. Or you can get an LPR and lower the bolt pressure for less chops, or you can get the WAS board when it is out.

Ive had my gun for 2 months now, I play every Saturday and till now, I have not broken a pb. I have a rev 12v and thats been fine. Then again. I haven't shotten very fast. I don't need to waist paint, even thou I can afford it.

Unless you happen to be a herring and recently spawned and were a less desirable to eat because of this, you have never shotten anything.
Anywho, as Hockeyfreak mentioned, the higher the feedneck the faster you will be able to shoot in bursts without chopping. Any halo (save for the TSA, which im not sure of just yet) will basically prevent chopping. A highrise feedneck and a egg 2 should also stop chops. And I personally used a highrise feedneck and a 12V revy with Xboard (laugh, laugh I know) and even with vision off, very seldom did I chop.

If you get an egg 2 just remember that the first few balls are gravity fed and the that short burst of walking the trigger will be your best bet with the egg 2. I always clear the balls with a short burst and then bring it up to speed with my Egg 2.
VC15,
Chopping is due to the ball only half loading into the chamber. The standard cricket board cannot in anyway help prevent that. So you will be just as likely to chop with a non-vision Impulse as you will with a much less expensive sear tripper electro such as an e-spyder or e-pirhana.
Things you can do to keep from chopping....
1. Use a fast reliable hopper such as the EggIIY or the HaloB.
2 Always use fresh batteries in your hoppers and make sure there clean.
3. Use a taller feedneck.
4. Make sure to keep your Impulse (or anygun) as close to vertical as possible when shooting.
5. Tune your gun specifically so that you get the "Vacume Assist Feed" that prett much any gun can have.
6. Use quality paint that is consistantly round.
7. Buy vision.

The last one will prevent chopping. Period. ;)
