Once a Tippy fan, always a Tippy fan...thus while I'm posting here.

Anyone remember me? ;)

Just wanted to pass along the news that I sold the Blazer awhile ago, and I'm a convert to Stock Class play now. My Phantom should be here today or tomorrow. Woohoo!

Just thought I'd share with some of my ol' buddies from the Tippy forum.

omg criem dog always owns the marker i start gettting interested in before i buy it.

several qeastions for you here:

1. what is the clear body work on some of the phantoms made of. is it a very hard plastic? can it stain with age and sun like other clear platsic?
2. do stock class phantoms have sights? ive seen some with sight rails on them and some with tubes mounted on the magazine tube that resemble an iron sight
3. is a regulator easily mounted on a phantom
4. what consistancy can i get out of a phantom with a regulator on it.
5. would a regulator improve efficeincy?
6. how many shots can i get out of a 12 gram co2 powerlet
7. how many out of a 9 gram powerlet
8. is the extra accuracy a myth or does it really have to do with somthing about the valve and the barrel.
9. how much experience do you genearaly require to compete against semis and come out on top. not that ive been playing for nearly 3 years and i now own an emag.

i asked thees before but i want your answer

What....didn't believe what someone else told ya? ;)

1) They're acrylic if I"m not mistaken.
2) Mine only has a sight rail on the SC feeder tube...no actual "sight" itself. And the "tube" mounted on the feed tube would be called a "Ghost Ring". No...that doesn't come stock with the gun.
3) "Easily"? No.
4) I don't know. I don't have one. You'll have to ask someone that does.
5) On a SC Phantom? I doubt it. Part of your air would get stuck in the Reg.
6) What others have already told ya... 30-40.
7) No clue. Never used a 9 gram.
8) I don't consider myself a "great shot"...but the accuracy was pretty darn good on mine.
9) No clue. It all depend on your team, level of teamwork, and to a degree, level of experience. I've won a game using a PGP...and turned around and done horrible in the same day. *shrugs*

C'mon folks, keep the spam down. This thread is just a reminder of how much you guys get away with when I'm gone.
Just wondering, What is spam? Can someone tell me?

well kampfer, spam is just plain garbage, like the junk mail you get is called "spam" just stupid, useless info nobody will find the least bit helpful

Spam is something that does not belong in a thread/forum. This belongs here because CD is the man and I say it belongs here.

So I closed your thread. You aren't even selling your Tippmann, so you aren't leaving. You are just buying a new gun. You're still going to be around here, so why the need of the thread? No offense or anything, but all you are doing is just getting a new gun..it's not like much is going to change. But with CD, he left for duty reasons and is just updating us (if you didn't know, this was his forum back in the day before he sold out and bought the Palmer :P) on his situation.

If other people don't agree with this, no more posting of it in this thread. PM me if you want to discuss this.

Notice I started my post with "Once a Tippmann fan, ALWAYS a Tippmann fan."

My heart hasn't left Tippmann products. I've just taken a detour in paintball for the time being. Hopefully someday I can get another one. Why didn't I get a SL-68II? Well, honestly, when it came to the pumps...I liked teh Phantom better. I've shot both, so I was able to compare.

But when it comes to sound semi-autos...well heck. GO CUSTOM 98! :)

Just so I'm not "spamming" your forum.

And thanks Turambar. Yes, I was only checking in here and posting this to keep my Tippmann brother-in-arms updated on what I've been up to. As Turambar said, I used to mod this Forum and I developed some good "online friendships" with a lot of users here (glad to see some of you are still here!)

So...sorry if I offended anyone and you considered this spam. I consider this keeping in contact with friends/brothers. Trust me...I hate spam just as much as the rest of you.

:D :P :)

I remember you, Crimey.

I wouldn't be surprized if you forgot me, but you can't forget the endless Sniper Threads! We seemed to put those little flamers back in their places. :D

Well, it's good to have you back- maybe? Speaking of pumps, the SL-68 II owns the Phantom, and you can't argue with me because I'm, well, Empyreal. I use to borrow my friend's SL-68 and play in tournaments with it. I won't say something like this often, but using a pump actually will help out using any gun. The experience is just that fun! It's even more fun when you mark someone with an Angel, with a Pump.
