I thought closed bolt weren't blowbacks? Anyway, close bolt is when the bolt is closed when the ball is in the breech

I don't know EXACTLY but, if you look at any spyder or any other blow back, when you cock the gun, and a ball falls in the breech, you can see the ball through the feed port, and bolt is behind it. If you look at closed bolt guns, when the balls falls into breech, bolt closes the feed port, so you can't see the ball through it. What difference does it make, I don't know. I think it eliminates the blow back.

Freakazoid is partially correct. Blow back is when you cock the gun, a ball is already in the breach and you can see it. Then when you fire it, the bolt pushes the ball towards the barrel and fires it. Then the bolt moves back, and another paintball drops into the breach. In a closed bolt gun, or a blow forward gun, such as the Automag, the ball is loaded into the breach and pushed towards the barrel prior to firing. When the gun is fired, the ball is fired, the bolt is moved back, another paintball drops, and the bolt is moved forward again. Accuracy wise, many thought that blow forward was more accurate, but that's been proven a myth.

Thank you, I was just a little confused about that.
