digital paintball problem

when i try to start a LAN game it gets half-way through loading all the junk it needs to, and then a window pops up and says

Mod_NumForName: sprites/voiceicon.spr not found

why didn't it install that file when i installed the game(i downloaded it from KaZaa Lite) and how can i fix it?

First, remove dpb from your halflife folder. Then download dpb from the site(www.digitalpaintball.net). See if that helps. If not, Check your valve/sprites folder. Is there a voiceicon.spr there? If not you'll have to get that file from someone who has hl through aim or something. Or you could reinstall halflife, but thats a bit of a pain.

I think I had the same problem. The only thing I had to do was dl the latest verson/patch for either Half Life or DPB. I know nothing about computer mumbojumbo, sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Do you have DPB 2.1? or the older version?
