Going Nitro ...

Called PMI the other day to inquire about putting a nitro/HPA tank on my STS. The tech rep said I'd have to drill out the ASA where the grip screws into the gun and put in a Turbo Valve. Then I called a store to get some prices and the Sales Rep said, No, just get the tank, screw it in and go play.

I agree! As long as the output of the tank is 750-900 you can just screw it in and play. There are some preset tank regs that are lower and adjustable. These are for the elctro guns mostly.
Don't get rid of your CO2 tanks though. I've been to a lot of fields where they either didn't have nitro or ran out.

you COULD but it would look sorta wierd, having a NItro tank hangnin off of your asa, you should get a bottomline first, then attach the nitro, but you'd have no problems goin vert with nitro...it'd just be hard to grip

I planned on getting a reg then a bottemline THEN a nitro tank

well you have to have the bottomline in order to use the reg, you can't screw the tank into the reg. My suggestion is to get the bottomline and the reg at the same time, then later on get the nitro tank.

Nope. Get one of those bottomline kits from pbgear. They are relatively cheap...
