I have a Shocker turbo with power feed/air assist. I don't know if it would be worth it to sell it and buy a freak factory or not. What do you think?

i don't want to give up performance for looks. i don't mind the weight of the shocker. all i want to know is which one performs better...i have an awsome set up and i don't want to sell it and pay some more just for a cool looking gun.

it's still just an impulse. you can take a talon give it a cool paintjob and hack off its body and toy around w/ it's power tube but in the end its still just a talon. a 1500 dollar FF imp still won't be as good as a shocker imo.

FF costs like $800 for standard and $1000 for vision . . .

i know a guy from the freak factory team that has one for sale used, but in perfect condition with vision, freak barrel with one insert and 4500 maxflow system for 800 but i don't think i'm going to get it. I've thought about switching for a few months now. I like my shocker to much.

Ahem

i know alot about freak factories, and they are no 1000 w/the eye
they are

900 w/solid anno, and freak barrel, 1 insert

1000 w/special anno, freak w/1 insert.

it says there are 150 left on their site, but i haven't seen any freaks at CO paintball latly, the guys who sell them

I think they are sold out,

As I understand it, the contract between Smart Parts and CO Paintball had an expiration date for CO's exclusive right to the FF Impulse. This date has passed, so Smart Parts has started using some of the Freak Factory parts in stock guns and has sent out some of the remaining FF guns to different Smart Parts dealers.

I don't think so, i'll ask the guys at CO next time.

Please do. I am curious.

At ZAP Smart Parts was selling some of the FF guns as well as upgrades, I did not buy any but they were available.

I saw those, they had some red fade and one of the better blues on display

i guess you should just stick with your shocker, but as for bbqchickens replies saying the shocker is a better performer than the impulse, the chick is dead wrong. i won't right five pages or anything why, just ask/read around. let me just tell you this, half (around half, give or take) of the all americans have now switched to impulses, and not just he front players.
the ff impulse looks really nice, but for the same price (around the same price) you could get the very sweet shocktech matrix. ;)

The freak factory guns are now advaible to all smart parts dealers. They are selling them as "full blown kits"-- with Maxfol, and full freak set. If you want a great but expensive outfit, there are a few that are going fast.

If you can get the money from selling your shocker than get the Freak Factory Impulse.
