Get the CP, it's an awesome barrel. Put the rest of that $100 to other upgrades.

Lapco bigshot rarely gets shot outs, that's a very nice barrel. Look into CP 2 piece barrels or the Dye Ultralite.

I would say powerlyte speedlines there just as good as boomy or better and are cheaper

the boomsticks are crappy, they are very picky on paint, i hate mine all to piss, go CP, although their 1-pieces aren't much better. If you have $100 to spend, go with the JT 2-piece, its the absolute most accurate barrel I have ever used (and I have used a lot of barrels)

:| Wierd... that's almost exactly the opposite I would say.

For the money, the boomie isn't the best, but it's a great barrel!

The CP one-piece is an amazing barrel, most definitely the best value, and it performs right up there with the DYE Ultralights and such.

I haven't had much use w/ the JT 2-piece, but from my limited experience and what I've heard... they aren't much at all. :|

Go to www.shootpaint.com and pick yourself up a .692 Ultralite, you'll be glad you did. Its just as accurate as the Boomstick, and FAR from picky on paint.

I've shot a 14 in excel, 18 inch, boomy, and then i bought my 14 in Jt two piece, and out of them, i would have to say its a close tie between the boomstick and jt two piece. I really like the two piece, and plus i had this weird problem with the spyder threads on the boomstick not screwing in all the way to my gun. Its weird, some of the older spyder threaded barrels don't match right with the spyder threads on my JT, if that makes any sense at all....:|

Comparitively, I have owned a JT 2-piece, a DYE boomstick, a DYE Stainless steel, and a DYE Ultralite and thus far the JT 2-piece has performed the very best, with the Ultralite and stainless steel right behind. the boomstick performed the absolute worst

All I can say is that's very very wierd... :| I believe you, but that's completely contradictory to all my experience.

But the SS, Boomy and UL are all the same barrel made out of different material....
