View Full Version : Best Barrel For My Setup?

A couple of things I'm looking for in a barrel:

1. Very high quality material and precision manufacturing.

2. A barrel with true rifling to give the ball a little spin.

3. Porting at the tip (preferably only 2-3") for noise reduction.

4. I'm not sure yet about the pros/cons of a 2 piece vs 1 piece, so any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm using a Game Face: E-Rex Pro (I was told it's basically a Black Dragun LCD, even made in the same factory) with Co2 (around 800-900psi), everything stock right now, Empire 12v reloader.

The barrels I'm considering at this point are the Armson Stealth, Armson SSR, Hammerhead, or Lapco BigShot.

I'm also considering upgrading my loader to an eVLution II or a Halo-B. Are they worth the extra $$$? Any Loader Suggestions?

If you aren't outshooting your Reloader, don't upgrade it.

I've heard nothing but good things about the hammerhead.

I haven't heard of the Hammerhead. Who makes it?

to: bam87,

Hammerhead is the brand. you can find some reviews on this website. You can also go to the Manufacturer Website: http://www.hammerheadpaintball.com/main.asp

personally i say stay with the reloader and go with the lapco bigshot (great barrel)

i also noticed you can check every box on the poll:D (but i didnt)

Rifling isn't hard to clean. I can clean it perfectly with a single pull through of the straight shot or jerk squeegie.

i dont see dye ultralights on your list. there great barrels, anything made by dye is a good thing. also, they can be very silent if used properly.
