Ok my paintball group just disintegrated, marriages new jobs etc.
I am looking for a new group of rec scenerio or tourney interested players. My wife and i have been playing every week for just over a year and I have 4 yrs experiance.

I live in Owensboro but I'm just a rec-baller. Sorry... If you ever need an extra guy and you'll be playing in the woods, let me know. What do you and your friends use though? I've got a lil stock M98 Custom right now...getting advice on a barrel and chamber. We all use the cheap Brass Eagle paint too bc we just get out there and have fun...

Hey man glad to see someone else from KY is on this board. Don't knock the M98 it is a great gun. Also you might think about polishing the stock barrel if money is a big concern. It is very easy. If you want a new one i suggest the 32 degree terminator it is very cheap and accurate. BTW I have found that most be paint is actually pretty decent if you give it a few days to sit out of the box and turn it daily it gets rid of most of the dimples and shoots pretty well from a big bore barrel. Any way if you are curious about the barrel polishing just ask.

Do you know much about the AA Aluminum barrel? I think I'm going to get a 14" model. What about RPS Super Swirl paintballs? I just found out that my local Wal-Mart carries those as well and they are just a little more than the BE balls. Where is it that you live in KY?

The AAbarrel is very accurate and VERY quiet. It has a medium to large bore diamater so it shoots most paint just fine. The super swirl paint is good paint as is the visible impact both available at wally world here. Both shoot consistantly and seldome break in my experiance. They are what i buy when i forget to order online. I live in Nicholasville just south of Lexington.

A lot of guys on here claim the Super Swirls (and Marbs) rarely break on impact. They say they bounce all the time. What is your experience with these bouncing? Do you have any recommendations to keep them from bouncing. I know this may be be better under the Paint and Barrels board, but I'm posting it here since we are in the same climate which has an effect on the balls.

Yes they will bounce alot. As far as i know their is no stopping it except for goggle shots. The Visible impact rarely bounces. However the bouncy paint also punches through brush and twigs well so it is kind of a trade off.
