Backspin nylon bolt

i am designing backspin bolt . I think if all the air is focused at the bottom of the ball the ball will obtain a back spin. I have a rough design included. If it work i have enough nylon to make atleast 8. I just want some thoughts and commites on the design.

With that design, you'd get a lot of turbulance from the air passing through the rough edges like that. Might make a weird noise or something, but the thing I was worried about was a decrease in FPS from the turbulance.

Another thing is with the air directed downwards like that, it might undercut the ball. Meaning all the air would just try to shoot under the ball and past it instead of pushing and spinning the ball at the same time.

I would more focus on a design that had a less turbulant path to the ball and have the air column hit the ball at more of a dead-on approach rather than angling it.

Basically what he is saying is don't use corners for the air round off everything and make is circular....

yeah i plaened on rounding it off. I have enough materials for 8 so i'll experiment with the angle of the air that is pushing on the bottom of the ball

well i just got my camera working and i took lots of pics i didn't make it a backspin bolt but it's lighter and shorter than the stock bolt and it reduces the recoil of the gun.

ok Mills here NIffy it is. I'm going pumping out some venti and open bolts and i aready have programed a 90degree frame and some lpr adapters I am even going to be making a super high flow valve for spyders, tribals, and cockers. One niffty thing i'm also going to be doings is adding a tippmann rt kit to a spyder. Well those 90degree grips sould be done after i get some alum. in and when i get some more nylon in those high flow valves will be out Expect them in about 2 weeks

if i wanted to put that bolt in my tribal would i have to do anything else besides trade it out with the stock.

i need some more dye for the bolts I've ule-ed my emag rail and my friends. 'm waiting for a shippment of metal and nylon for the bolts. I'll post some Ideas i had for bolts when i hook p my scanner later and put my camera software on my computer.
