What is the craziest, stupidest, coolest, or funniest thing YOU ever did as a newbie?
In the 2 1/2 years I've been playing I've done some bone-headed things, but nothing quite compares with this. The first time I played I was scared ****less. I wouldn't advance, I wouldn't fire, I wouldn't even look out from behind my cover. I played like this all afternoon, and by the end of the day, with everybody making fun of me, I decided to go Rambo.
It was the last game of the evening and I wanted to prove I wasn't a total wimp. As soon as the game started I rushed forward to the other team's side, everybody on my team was cheering me on. There was one last little bunker about 3 feet high, and as I lept over it, my shoe snagged on the top. I fell flat on my face and when I looked up I saw a several guys about 20 feet away with really fancy markers. I winced, anticipating the end, and got lit up.
To my surprise, it didn't hurt as much as I expected, and I lived to play another day.

stupidest thing: Shot one of my own teamies in the Rear. Hey, his Arse looked like it was on the other team.
Craziest thing: got shot while trying to bunker a guy, and then argued with him why he couldn't shoot me while I was attempting my bunker. All the while, I got lit up from behind by some punk.
Coolest thing: I suck too bad to make a cool move.

Coolest thing I did as a newbie...third game I'd ever played (some might STILL call me a newbie, but anyways...) We were playing indoors, airball, and when the whistle blew, I rushed to the center castle. Didn't realize that it's actually hard to run that far up the course and not get shot....but I didn't!
Oh...the cool part.
A guy on the other team did the same thing...but somehow didn't see me. We both slid into the castle, on opposite sides. I had seen him. So before he could get up, I jumped up and pointed my marker over the top and told him to surrender.
My first surrender elimination...and I did it in less than 10 seconds into the game.
Heh. That rocked. Haven't had anything that cool since though...

The first time I ever played was in this indoor place that was setup on the third floor of this old warehouse. It was really cool as it was setup like a little city in there with allyways and windows and back entrances to all the 'buildings'.
We only had these cheapo pumps to play with, but they did have auto triggers, so you could hold the trigger down and shoot as fast as you could pump the gun.
Anyways I was the last guy on my team left and was shooting it out with the other team when a ref came into the building behind me, to check if I had been hit.
All I saw was movement out of the corner of my eye and I rolled onto my back and shot him about 6 times right in the side, in between where he was wearing a chest protector.
This was basically at pointblank range and he yelled and dropped to the ground. The poor guy got lit up worse than anyone else that day, and he was reffing!
I apologized, and he was really cool about it and checked me for paint and told me to play on.
I wish that place had stayed open, but it never really caught on and went out of business the next summer. The only thing that sucked about it was they wouldn't let me play with my PGP, wich was my pride and joy at the time.(It was Hot)
The crazyest thing I ever did was a few weeks after that, this other guy had an smg 60(Full auto) and I charged him with a pump. Man did I ever get lit up!

well this is more of a team thing , when i was n00b this one guy ran for the flag, then ran back towards us, we all saw a guy running at us, and he got lit up. he just looks at us, like, wtf guys! oh well..
um funiest
my cocker screwed up on me and it overloaded the air (dont ask me how) this extra amount of air sent my hopper flying 10 feet away out into the open. LOL.
coolest......
i played out of the other side of a guys bunker for a while while he was in it.
