I myself prefer spring because I can get a lighter trigger pull with a spring over a magnet. And a fast return doesn't really matter that much to me.

I have a magno and it's awesome, but i'd say blades are more smoother and adjustable. I'd go for a Magno blade.

well i have a magna on my imp...
my view comparing the two
magna is faster single finger
spring is easier to set up for walking
magno is harder to walk on because of the hard tension (unless you set up the trigger pull sickly small)
the magno is not smooth, it has a feel similar to a mechanical trigger, the beginig of the pull is hard, but then gets easier as apposed to a spring that starts easy and gets harder as a smooth motion.
they're both easy to adjust, however a magno trigger does not have tension adjustments.
however impulse faq has more help for you
an article on the magno is here
http://www.kamworld.net/paintball/reviews/Mag_trigger.html
and if u scroll down here, on the left you see numerous other trigger articles

and in summing it up.... and mybe adding
i believe the magno is harder to learn but when you learn it, its quicker. however both are good..
Depends on the frame, trigger, and what kind of magnets/springs!
Generally MY experience has been...
Smoothest to least smooth...
1. Opossing Magnets
2. Spring
3. Atracting magnets
But, again, it depends totally on the setup.
