This past weekend I got to put the SP mod for the BKO threw its paces. With my ability to destroy a steel ball in a rubber room I though I would see if what Travis claims to be true really is. So here are my results.
I compared my Stock BKO with my magnetic trigger mod and the SP mod. I was using a ricky 2k set at pro 3 and pro 6. To my GS bushy that rippes like no other. It was shot using a ricky 2k also. To make sure it was a fare test I purchased some pretty cheap paint. I figured I'd keep it at a price that a average person could afford.
My results: The Bushy was a frickin blender. I broke more paint then I could swab out of my barrell. (sure was fun though.)
The BKO with the SP mod was a different story. Even though I still broke paint, it was nothing like the bushy. I only broke three balls in 6 games. This is really impressive. I was rippen on the trigger and could tell when the SP cylinder was doing its job. MY efficiency and velocity were also good. I could empty all my pods(3) and hopper. (68/3000 filled to 2300psi.)
Inconclusion: If you are wanting to help your BKO from chopping I would recommend the SP mod. For the price you can't beat it for what it was designed to do. It may not stop all of the chopping but it sure will help you from doing it.

This mod will be on my custom BKO!

Greg

Thanks, for letting me try to tear up your stuff.

word, thanks for the review. out of about 1500 balls i have had one chop, and that was because i was trying to be billy bad *** and impress another bko owner, i put a ball half way in and it pop on the first try. but it has stopped about 6 chops, it will just miss a shot, or when it pinchs it wont recock all the way, so i would have to do it.

If it isnt recocking you need to grease your ram assembly.
I believe we worked on the previous problem you had with the ram, but I am not sure. If you are still having problems with the ram not recocking let me know. This isnt related to the SP Mod but I will be more than willing to help you get it resolved.

it is'nt really a prob as i see it, it only happened twice and i thought maybe it was because of pinching the hammer couldnt hit the valve and have it open fully to recock. when it did this it would recock but there would be a tiny piece of the bolt still blocking the feed. the ram is perfect. lubed and cycles flawlessly. but if you think otherwise travis i'm up for suggestions. but like i said it's not a probelm.

If it is still sticking forwards I would check to make sure the ram sleeve is secure. This is the most common problem.
If you dont think it is in the ram sleeve then I would think the ram is a little dry.
Other than these two things not quite sure what it would be.
