Which is the cheapest and yet is fairly decent. Where on the net is the cheapest place to buy it? I need it for my Esprit to run full auto (13 bps) Any help appreciated.

If you want to shoot 13bps without chopping you need to get yourself an EvolutionII
I believe the cheaper place you can get them is www.paintballgateway.com
Last I checked they were 70 bucks there...

Reloader at 13BPS that may be pushing it if he is on full auto
crazy kids and always wanting to use full auto.. but yeah if you dont want a chance of chopping then take the evo ii over the reloader

Eggy would be the best way to go:tup:

i also say get the empire
most fields wont let u use full auto anyway.. newb :P
plus, i really wouldn't recommend using full auto if you don't have nitro or at least anti siphon fittings :p

get a reloader. Just use semi auto. Plus, as stated before, most fields do not allow full auto.:D

Any gravity-feed loader will feed 13bps in "bursts".
It is the maximum limit for all gravity-feeds. After that, it is up to the hopper to keep it unjammed.
The empire will average around 12bps though. If you don't want to see any chops, best go with the Egg2

and you cant use full auto at fields anyway:eyes: so why use it...
(unlesss outlaw ball)
get a revvy or a reloader.
I would say the Eggy 2.
Why? Because with the Reloader you're pushing the chances of not chopping. It tops out right around 12-14 bps. So, If you're shooting 13 bps for any amount of time, you have a likelyhood of chopping.
With the eggy 2. It'll feed 17 bps. So you won't have to worry about chopping due to slow feeding... Ever
Inless you shoot around 17 bps

Good Call. Just a suggestion, after you're done playing...remember to take the batteries out of the loader. Mine sucks the juice out of those things faster than I care to think about.

The same 13 bps limit applies to hoppers too, unless they force feed the ball into the chamber, such as the Halo.
While a Evo II will feed 17 bps, it only feeds a ball when it detects an empty space, gravity is still feeding the ball into the chamber, hence, it can't feed the marker faster than 13 bps.
The reason for the 13 bps limit is it takes a 13th of a second for an object to fall .70 inches. Since the bolt stops acceleration with each shot, each paintball starts at a rest and must accelerate at 32fps per second.
None force feed hoppers simply prevent jams, but this significantly increases the effective rate at which you can fire.

Thats my biggest complaint about the Egg. It can feed fast, but its not consistent. It will start out as 13bps, then climb up to 17bps. However, I'm not skilled enough with the trigger to FIRE 13bps, and gradually fire faster.
I wonder if its possible to make an intellifeed style mod? or maybe just have it always running? hmmm

i have a egg and i have never out shot it......but when i do *shakes fist*. actualy i found it to be quite hard to out shoot it, it takes an angel/eclipse autococker.......and we allllll know how smart xanthro is now.

just get an Empire Reloader, unless your really paranoid about out shooting the hopper (which will probably not happen to often), then invest in an Egg2

Well, in case your living in a box...
Smart Parts is now claiming to own the patent on ALL paintball guns that use electronics, and want all other electro-makers to stop, or pay HEAVY licensening fees.
They are currently sueing ICD and WDP, and are expected to sue WGP, Kingman, Bob Long, etc if they win those cases.
It seems crazy, but SP has a good chance of winning. SP is owned by corrupt patent lawyers (who had there patent business SHUT DOWN by the government for illegal practices).
Anyway, there was a major boycott going on that was doing some damage, but SP scared enough people that NPS has agreed to pay license fees for the electros it sells. (ie Timmy).
So... there is a great SP thread in the "general" forum.
Back to Hoppers:
I'm pretty happy with the Egg. My gun will pinch, so I can usually work my way up to 15-17bps with the occational skips.
