I was just wondering ,but dont your ip change everytime you log on to the net. I know that when i used to host games and other players needed my ip adress to join it was different every time. so if this is true cant you end up banning someone that you didnt intend to by just banning the ip

If you have a cable modem or any other connection that is permanently or always connected to a certain server, then no your IP address doesnt change every time you come online. But if u have dial-up, then it does.
