Range on my compact 2000 java deluxe

i just bought the gun and the only upgrades i have made is a new barrel (a dye xcel). When i shoot the ball literally makes it only 60-80 feet (if that) before dropping off. I also sent away for a 32 degree expansion chamber kit but haven't gotten yet. Is there any way i can get better range as well as accurancy from this gun.

Yes you could increase your range by highering your fps but that would be illegal since most places only allow 300 fps or else

so arch your shots that should help

well if you haven't chronoed(checked the fps with a machine) yet, then you're marker was probably set at a low velocity before you got it. If you have checked it and it's between 260 and 300 fps, then it must be getting better range than you say.

Yah, enless your puting some type of topspin on the paintballs, then you need to higher you fps.

If you just want to shoot trees, then go ahead and higher it, then when you play a real game..chrono and lower it a little if you need to..but DONT mess w/ the FPS if your going to play w/ other ppl..
