Ok, my intimidator is leaking now from the internals. Its coming out of the front of the body, somewhere near the lp reg. It isnt any of the hoses in the trigger frame, or the regs fittings, etc. I have no idea why it is leaking, or where for that matter.
Im actually considering selling the gun. All it does is get on my nerves. So far, the lp reg was messed up so i had to fix it, the trigger is really screwy to my taste, and its too damn tall. I was gonna buy some new parts for it but no im considering selling it. The defiant i used today worked unbelievably. The tirgger has NO side to side play, and it doesnt have shootdown or any kick like the intiidaotr. I dont know, what do u guys think i should do, sell the intimidaotr and the black ice, and buy a defiant? I just think that for the money i payed for my intimdator, i shouldnt have to deal with all this, it should be working perfectly out of the box.

one, shootdown or kick is from the black ice. They suck. get a gladiator. I have had no problems except I think I blew a air line to my solenoid. The trigger does have side to side play but I can get used to it.

Lower your pressure in your regs if it's leaking. And shootdown, well what do you expect for a black ice?

Yeah, the black ice is pretty bad, but it doesnt explain the leaking in the gun. It is internal, i cant see where it leaks. I sprayed soapy water over all the fitings and stuff, but there was no eaking around them at all. Does anyone have ne idea why this is leaking?
I will admit the gun is a lot more consistent then the defiant. Even with the leak i went to the chrono and got 292 296 294.
Im still a little disapointed though. I payed 650 for this gun, and im still having to deal with leaks and stuff like this.
How is the kick of the gun related to the black ice reg. I mean, its terrible. I havent doent the lp mod yet (whi ill ry tonight just wont fire fast) but stock the kick on the gun is bad. Thats one thing i really hate. The defiant has a shock to it when u shoot, but thats normal for a gun, The angelu cant een tell is shooting it has no kick. But the timmy has a hell of a lot of it. But anyways, if the kikc is somehow related to the black ice, let me know why so i can fix it, or buy a new reg.

Ok, i just tried the lp mod, and to tell everyone the truth, there didnt seem to be much of a difference. The gun still kicks, only know it was quieter. However, the gun rattles like all hell because the sound of the bolt sticks out more. Its still leaking fomr the inside though, does anyone have any quick solutions to why this is happening?

Lower the pressure in your LP regulator. The reason it is leaking is because the pressure is venting to prevent your solenoid from bursting.

he might not have his poppet assembly greased either. That gave me internal leaks similar to what sounds like he is getting. And if you have been shooting the gun with an ungreased poppet assembly, then that could have scratched and wrecked your cup seal. THAT alone will make the gun leak internally. In which case.. get a new cup seal, and grease that assembly... this is essential.

the lp reg is set at 85 psi, so i dont think that is the reason its leaking.
Jorynnrace, where is the poppet assembly so i can grease it.

Ok, i fixed the problem. The lp reg was high, the poppet wasnt greased, and one of the regs was aking from the guage ports. Wlel all the problems were fixed now, and since the dweel is set perfectly, and the pressures are donw, the kick is ten times less, resulting in a smooth shooting gun with even better consistensy then before.
The onyl thing that needs to be fiexed now is the side to side movement on the trigger, but im looking into that now. If i actually figure soemthing out (lol, yeah, right) ill post it and let u guys know.
Thanks for all the info
