Why exactly do a lot of the "high end" Impulses I see have the maxflo mounted vertically? To me it looks like it'd make a crappy (uncomfortable) foregrip what with the macro fitting right smack dab in the middle of it. Or am I horribly mistaken?

they are more compact and most after market imps are targeted on tourny players so... i would take a vert maxflo over my horizonal

Um, yea, they basically covered. Also, if the hose is in your way, just twist the 'flo around until it is out of your way. No fuss, no muss, and short macro line :)

You can adjust it so the Macro doesn't get in your way. I like mine and the gun isn't as tall.

verts are nice. i have small hands so it doesnt bother me with size. there is really no difference in performance though
