Striker Buffer

Hi guys!

I recently bought my first marker (a TL+), and I've been stripping it to get to know the parts and construction, but the striker buffer is confusing me.

According to the schematic, it goes in after the striker, right? But where in the tube does it go, how far along? I think that it goes in 'till the latch stops it but I'm not sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, but how do I get it in there? It seems to be a tricky job to get it down the tube.

Here's how I would do it:
1. Slide striker and bolt in together
2. Put striker buffer so that it just fits in.
3. Put the main spring through the hole in the striker buffer
4. Put spring guide in spring
5. Slide velocity adjust in, which also pushes the striker buffer in at the same time
