Do you gusy think that the nitrogen and low pressure kit are worth getting or would a new marker be a better investment to save up for?
depends on how much you like your 98. if you love it and nothing else could be better, then yes it would be a great investment. however... if you plan on getting a different gun in the future, i suggest saving for that gun

Like laub said, it is only worth it if you plan on keeping your 98c. Though getting just HPA and a reg will definitely be worth it, as both can be used on a future gun.

I dont believe you need a reg am I right? I'm wondering cause I'm buyin an HPA/N2 tank right away here and I won't be using a regulator.

No, you don't NEED a regulator. But if you are getting HPA, you may as well get a regulator as well. Because without it you won't experience much of a difference from co2.

You only need a regulator with the Low Pressure Kit. If you don't have one it won't work. I don't have a regulator, yet, with my Vertical Adaptor and 48 ci // 3000 psi. Although, I'm not quite sure how a regulator would fit in... I suppose where the regulator would be on the LPK.
I do, however, notice a big difference from my HPA tank from my old CO2 tank. Before I had wicked bad velocity spikes, but now I don't have bad spikes with the HPA tank. It's noticable but not as great as it would be with a regulator.

You get near HPA performance with a Co2 by using a Regulator and an Anti-Syphon in the tank. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a HPA tank, a regulator, and the LPS for the 98c. Read the Sticky about Co2 in the Air Systems forum.

But it's still not good for the internals of most electronic markers.

The solenoid, technically.

if your going to get a gun with low pressure settings, you might as well get the lp kit, that way you can use the same tank and get the benefits from it.
