View Full Version : What is the best frame for a mag?

I was thinking probably a dye 2x finger frame, but I want to know what the best is. I really want something that makes it harder to short stroke.

Maybe I should look into selling my 68 AIR valve assembly and getting an RT valve? If so where can I get RT assemblys for a decent price?

If I would feel like trusting a boo-yaah frame, I found them new for 199$. I don't know about boo-yaah. RT seems more fun, plus I could sell my old assembly to pay for the RT.

The AGD frame is the best. I don't recomend making a mag electro, it just wasn't made to be that way

As for RT, i wouldn't dothat either.

I was thinking about the AGD blade trigger frame, has anyone heard if the trigger pull is lighter with AGD frames or not? Also, when are they coming out?

i think the AGD frame is going to be awesome. looks like a short trigger pull, so it will probly eliminate short stroking to minimum.

I hope :) I'm wanting to go upgrade crazy on my mag because I am working a decent amount of hours now.

Definitely wait for the AGD frame. I HATE my benchmark frame..the pull is very long.

A sniper wasn't pneumatic until Mr. Orr decided to copy glen palmers design.

How can a paintball marker be Meant or Not Meant To Be anything? I mean, you try to advance the current standard of a marker in any way possible. I would group things into two categories, possible and not done yet.

yeah but i think what people mean when they say that, is, the marker wasnt built to handle electronics, and/or high rates of fire.
like, the marker wasnt designed to become electronic in the future.

Yeah I think my minimag with shoots fast enough (although I wouldn't mind firing faster ;) )...its just the short stroking that sometimes gets annoying. I have gotten bettter at the trigger, but I still short stroke it every once in awhile.

I do really think that to eliminate short stroking a Mag the way should be:

1) tuned trigger finger
2) electro frame

I'm on help on WHICH electro frame. I've heard horror stories about them all.

Yeah, I'll just give it some time and practice and hopefully I will end up not hardly short stroking at all. If I'm just one of the people who are cursed when it comes to short stroking with mags...well, then I'll probably be in the market for an impulse or shocker...I have a thing for shockers, hehe.

Well SandStorm I might be at ICU Thurs, and you MIGHT be able to try mine for a game........

I need to do some testing with my Mag and my new KAPP gas-thru-grip. I'm worried it'll cause shootdown. The best way to test is in real game conditions.

The thing is I NEVER short stroke while shooting at the chrony or the like, just when I'm high on adrenaline and just ripping on the thing. Must be because of the three years I used my Alley Cat. I think I'll give it some time...if not the mag will be my back up and I'll sell my 2 other guns and I got some misc. equip laying around that I could sell. That way I could have some sort of electro with my mag.
