Hi

I've played paintball only a few times, but I feel I've been playing long enough to know that pistols aren't the best primary marker. Nonetheless, I like the idea of playing with two pistols on the field. So, I am taking suggestions as to what I should purchase. Here are some of my preferences:

-

Lightweight: I understand that the PT Pro is a mere 2 pounds, making it easier for me to run and move around.

Compact: The idea is that the gun is suppose to be pistol sized, so running around with two guns as long as the Armson Pump would sort of defeat that purpose.

CO2 Tank Compatible: 12 gram cartridges are expensive than tanks, even in bulk, and if I plan to use the pistols as my primary markers then I can't spend valuable time replacing CO2 on the field. Ideal tank size would be 4oz.

Hopper: Like the CO2, I can't take time to switch magazines in the middle of a fight if I intend to use pistols as my primary. Ideal hopper size would be the 40 round, fitting vertically with no elbow.

No Pump: I've never seen a pump gun before, but if it requires I pump it after each individual shot then forget about it.

-

And that's pretty much it. What I have in mind is something like a PT Xtreme with a bottom line kit (4oz) and 40 round hopper on the top with no elbow. If you do have a suggested marker, please include an estimated price value and detailed instructions if it needs to be adjusted or anything.

Remember I'm still pretty new to the world of paintball so please excuse me if anything here seems unrealistic. Thank you for any help you provide.

I think you could do that with PT proffesionals. I don't think it would be a good idea though.

once you put a 40 ball hopper and a 4 oz. on a small hand marker, that will look really stupid. unless you gold plate it.

Check out the pictures in the custom gun forum. I think there is one like you are looking for in there.

i was playing in one game a while back and some guy was running around with a talon with a ten round feed tube, and a harness of 12 grams and the same paint tubes. i thought it was cool his only limitation was he had to stay close to someone with a semi. but other than that he was doing pretty good.

Actually I think having dual pistols would be pretty neat in a scenario game or even just to fool around with in the back yard. Problem is, with limited amunition and CO2 you'll need a hand free to reload, which means you'll have to be putting down one gun and picking it back up over and over again.

some fields only allow you to play with one gun in the first place though.

Think pistols used to be used as the first pball guns (didnt they?) Now they are just used for back ups to your semi - just incase your marker gets messed up in a game, and you know some ones gonna mug you (see dictionairy :D)
