I'm so terribly grieved by the fact that a) all my friends who enjoy paintball have moved away b) I've been gone all summer recieving my Basic Recruit Training to be a member of the Comms Reserves, thus disallowing me the privlage of playing paintball c) I havn't been paid for my services this summer, thus disallowing me the privlage of playing paintball d) School starts in three days, thus furthar disallowing me the privlage of playing paintball... this sucks...

Does anyone know if the university of Calgary has a paintball club or something?

I don't know about a paintball club there, no. But I haven't really LOOKED for one either... so there might be one.

I've seen (excuse the fowl language) airsoft clubs though. SO I don't think a paintball club will be far behind.

I work there and to my knowledge there is no paintball club. One should definately be started.

Yes, there is a paintball club in the GTA- www.thetrpc.com (Toronto Recreational Paintball Club). They're great people, I had the privelage of going to the Wayne Dollack scenario game with them at wasaga.

Thats what I have found and also been told. Who knows....there could be an underground one...hehehehe...yes...we shall have to see. I go back to work tonight so I can ask around but to my knowledge there is not a paintball club at the moment.

Pyro, do you work there as in "student" work or as in "employee" work? Reason I ask, is cause there isn't a paintball club there, and I wanna see if there's anyone interested in starting one... cough cough, not me, cough cough... prob is, i dunno of many students at the U who are interested in paintball, letalone who arn't undergrads like myself... this sucks...

Alternative: Is there some sort of paintball ring in Calgary or something? A group who paintballs on a semi-regular basis? I have nomore friends now who will go :( not like the ones i had before were exactly willing to go, though, so stbm.

Yeah there's this dude who organizes fun rec games every few weeks at bragg creek... we just showed up to the last one.. the next one is this Sunday (6th) .. should be fun.

No man I work there as in I work there as a worker. If your looking for semi regulars you should come out with us sometime. Like flash said we are going out on the sixth and then we generally go on a semi reular basis so give us a message about whats happening or if you wanna play.

Well, fade, all ya have to do is put up a couple fliers around campus. If you are serious about starting a paintball club.

Just put up a few posters asking if anyone is intrested, and give them an e-mail address they can reach you at.

I'd do it myself, but I have other paintball comitments... the team comes first, mang.

And fersure, you should come out with us on Sunday. Its at 10am at Bragg (so be URLIER then that). Just reply or PM us if yer intrested/need a ride etc...
