I'd look at a Crossfire, It's one of the most inexpensive ways to get into a Nitro system.

I've heard nothing but good things about the preset PMI nitrogen tanks. A 48 ci costs about $70 at http://www.paintballgear.com

Now I haven't used one, but I'm seriously considering the Crossfire 51 ci (or maybe it's 57 ci) anyway, they've received favorable reviews on PBReview ... the reviews section that is. You can get the 48 ci for under $100 and the 51 is about $110.
My own research: the next best buy for the money is the PMI Pure Energy 68 ci (preset), it's about $129 at Paintballgear.com.

well if you're gonna get hte 51 ci, you might as well get the 68 ci for 10 bucks more...you get more shots, plus it's only 10 dollars.

So 68 ci would be best?

definatly get a crossfire 68ci. My friend has one and is maybe one of the best priced tanks on the market. The reg is good and since their steel u dont need to hydro test or worry about scratches. I got an AA melee my self. If you can afford it the AA is awsome, although it is more in the 200$ range i think
A damn fool

with a 3000psi system, you'd get over 1000 shots cuz you're running such a low pressure..so 4500 psi, you'd get...alot..
