New A-5 Barrel

I'm finally going to replace the crappy stock barrel on my A-5, Right now i'm looking at the Smart Parts All American, I'm wondering what insert I should buy for using powerball paint, and also if anybody has any other barrels to reccomend please do so.

Also, anybody have any general upgrades for the A-5 to reccomend? Mine is straight out of the box with a response trigger.

How much money do you have for a new barrel? IF you've got around $90, I'd say get a .693 Ultralite. If you don't have much, go for a Excel or a Progressive.

flatline barrel, its better than the stock and it doesn't suck, it costs $115 tho.:(

the flatline on the a-5 wears out very quike, and once it wears out then you have to get it sand blasted, and it will work, then you will have to get it resandblasted, it's a continuing prosess till eventually you can't sand blast it any more.

Ok progressive i guess...but then again, the Flat is great for the A-5

I'd say get a CP 1 piece, SP Teardrop/Progressive/AA, or an Ultralite.

from what ive seen, a flatline shoots much father and more accurate w/ the A-5 than a boomstick. go w/ the flatline

I've shot a total of 3 A5's with flatlines, they all shot further than a Boomer. But none shot more accurate.
