I ordered my 2k3 silver bko, and I'm curious, should I upgrade to a progressive barrel, or is the accuracy already good on the stock barrel?

The stock barrel works great with Med size paint.

If you want to upgrade the barrel, go to a multi-bore kit.

I personally bought CP's One Piece Barrel in .682 (Small) and .692 (Large)...CP barrels are good for the price and work good.

My $0.01 worth :D

The CP one piece barrels are the best barrels for the money by far but the stock barrel shots really nice with a good paint to barrel match

Any paint .688-.690 (i.e. most Diablo, RPS paint) bore works extremely well with the stock barrel... I've been using the stock barrel for aboot 3 months until I got a two-peice CP barrel. CP barrels are the best in their class all things considered, I'd recommend them higher than any other barrel manufacturer.

You'd be better off sticking with your stocky barrel as opposed to a progressive. Progressive are all right, but you won't notice a huge accuracy difference at all, save some cash and get a kit... maybe a CP kit? ;)

Just get a new HPR, valve or bolt before a barrel. The stock barrel already works. And yea u should get barrel kit nstead of gettina regular barrel like a progressive cause the stock barrel is more accurate.

Why a new bolt before barrel? The stock one's fine for awhile unless you have REALLY bad blowback, which most BKO's don't.

well i had problems with my bolt with blowback. It would send balls back into the hopper or outta the chamber then i gt the vaporbolt and it stopped.

The stock barrels is very good. I shoot RPS Big balls and it's very accurate and straight. Get valve and hpr before u get a barrel. And when u do, i recommend the CP Two piece

Even with the Evo 2?

Yea it was wierd. Well i kinda exxagerated, it wouldn't send it all the way to the hopper, just would push it up enough for it to not fall in the chamber when it came down so it chopped.

hmm... I'm surprised that happens with a force-fed hopper... that's why I advocate Halos... :)

I'm using my stock bolt right now. I'm happy with it. (I realize this is off topic)

There's blowback. But not that much. However, I have noticed that if I have 2 pb in (one in the breach and the other resting on top), when I fire, the top one will bounce a good 1-2 inches out of the lowrise.

I'm sure that's NOT blowback. When I use a piece of paper to do the blowback test, there's minimal movement of the piece of paper.

I believe what was happening was the bolt just catching enough of the top pball to not chop but to bounce it up the feed tube. I call it bolt-bounce.

A High-rise feed tube can help that. And I've noticed my Egg 2 has helped that problem as well.

Cheers
