I was wondering how rich Bob Long, Dave Young Blood, Tom Kaye, Bud Orr, the ppl in paintball. How rich are they? It does'nt seem like they could actually make all that much money after all there expenses they have. So how much money do you ppl estimate they have? Its kinda dumb question but its been on my mind for a while.

I'm sure that they are not the multi-millionares that some people may think they are, but they're not too bad off either. If your doing a job you really love and enjoy, isn't that enough?

I dont know, I kind of see them working blue collar jobs when they arent on the field. If anything they take their winnings from the tournament plus whatever their sponsors give them. Probably make about 50k+ a year from paintball.

most of these guys are presidents of their companies. so id probably guess they take in at least 100k a year.

Heads for BE are in the middle. I would expect those to be a little high for the industry since BE they sell the most guns. Then again... they have to sell about 50 Blades to get to the price of one Timmy... so really its anyone's guess as to what the other companies make. If they're publicly traded I think they are required by law to saw how much the chairpeople make. Not sure about that though.

That's not the point... people wanted to know how much the execs made, so I am telling them.
As far as my opinions on playing JUST paintball for a living, I don't think the sport has advanced far enough yet to the point where players are signing hundred thousand dollar contracts to JUST play for the team, let alone million dollar contracts like we see in baseball. Maybe in a few years that will change. I think it depends on the succes of televising paintball... but then we get into X-Ball and and that is a different topic entirely.

Ever watch hockey buddy? There's Jamir Jagor- highest paid hockey player in NHL $88 mil for a 4 year contract I believe. And then everything in between . Hockey is the highest paying sport in the world Baseball pays nothing compared to Hockey...but onto the topic of paintball for a living....maybe in 10 years but as for now most guys have second jobs, usually working for one of their sponsers as a tech, designe etc.
