View Full Version : Put on expansion chamber, leaks from bottom, on a-5

Got a new hose, got an expansion chamber, new elbow, 100 dollars or more total, the thing leaks right out the bottom. Scroll down for pics:

looking at your list of things you bought i dont see any loctite or teflon tape. it probably leaks becuase without

Lock tight it around the leaky edges ?

and buy a shorter hose when yah get that teflon or loctite. ;)

Is it leaking from the hose, or the bottom of the chamber? If it is the hose, just wrap the threads in some teflon tape and you will be good to go.

Both, I ordered an n2 air system so now im selling a hose, elbow, and an aci sub zero 6 stage x chamber.

mind me asking which HPA system you ordered..?

and i'm guessing you didn't get a regulator to go with it..?
when you get the money check into some mid-range regulators...

Since you're getting an HPA tank, you're going to need something to replace the x-chamber to get the air from your foregrip to ASA. If you've got the money, go for a reg. If not, just dump some into a gas through foregrip.

first do you still have the original gas line estup ? if you do you wouldnt need a gasthru cause there is a plastic forgrip

i was just saying that you wouldnt need to get the gasthru for a forgrip. and that air doenst go through the foregrip like a 98 does

either he puts n2 through a hose to the vertical adapter. or for better results... you would put a reg there.

I set the gun up as it originally was, im selling the x-chamber and the hose/elbow for $30 + s&h I dont feel like messing around to get it working! So im going to use n2 as the tank normally is
