i would get the phantom, it has a reputation for being a great marker.

I would buy phantom. More experienced company and based in the USA. I don't know much about 1st hand about the armson pump, just buy reputation and that rep makes the marker seem ok. The phantom leaves you will more possibility for customization, being that MIKE CASSDY will personaly do almost anything to your gun at the plant. He also provides pretty much the best customer service, and he runs all the shop buy himself.

I got the oppertunity to try an armson pump the other month, and I almost creamed my pants. It is a beautiful gun. There is nothing wrong with the armson, it costs a sh*** load less than a phantom, and it is accurate enough to hit my friends gun when he was just hiding around a corner about... 50 - 80 feet away.

On the other hand, if you are made of money, go for the phantom. It is more easily upgraded, and everyone fixes them. If I recall correct, the phantom is $250 to $300 depending on the gun.

i got my SC phantom for 190 at countypaintball.com. then i bought a gravity feed breech for 40(includes overnight shipping and a elbow and 200 round hopper) off oh system error from PHOG. cheaper then a armson pump.

the Armson was quit (it comes with an $80.00 barrle, so the gun is pretty cheap) and excellant for long rnage shots. I personally found that the gun had a good rate of fire. With open sights mounted, you couldtake five shots in five seconds at targets from 20m away and have a good chance of hitting them.

armson's been around for awile,but id say aswell hands down
phantom and they dont cost a sh*tload of money if you buy smart
you can get parts,upgrades and repairs anywere
