I was at my local field the other day and I was told to ALWAYS leave my screw in Crossfire tank on my drop forward anytime. Of course I'd turn the valve off when I'm done, but the store owner said after screwing and unscrewing :wink2: your tank, you get little pieces of metal debris in your air system and gun, which can ruin the internals. Now, I've seen the debris, but I've just ignored it and took off my tank after every day of play. Should I now leave my tank on the drop or just ignore what the store owner said and take it off?

I always left mine screwed in, just turned it off and shot the remaining air (so it doesn't wear on the seals).

Ya, I usually leave mine on the gun, but sometimes I take it off, and I always try to wipe off the "debris" before I put it back in.

leave the tank in just turn off the gas...the only time i take my tank off is if i am putting all my stuff in my bad to go somewhere if it won't fit the way it is or when i get it filled...otherwise it stays on...but always have a thread protector on it when it is not getting filled or not on the gun
