Hey,
Anyone ever tried this thing out? I'm thinking of getting a new hopper, and it doesn't seem like the Halo will be coming out my way any time soon. Not that I need it, I can't shoot over 14 bps with a Cocker...I'm not reallly bothered about the noise, and i've heard you can shove a little piece of cloth in the speakers to pipe the engine noise down. All LCD features aside, how does it work?

i think its a great design, i saw alot of people using them at the pan am with no probs, while people with revies were constantly shaking and hitting their markers. how its works is there is a litle paddle instead of an eye in the feed tube, and when ever it feeds a ball it moves, thus spining with every ball fired, they same as an intelifeed would do. i think it feeds much more efficiently and consistenly, great product IMO.

hey I have a couple team mates that have them and have talked to a lot of tourney players that used them and most have gone back to the revi w? x board!! They feed quit a bit slower than the Rev and they tell me you definately can't tilt to the side and get consistant feeding with the flipper door!!! The "Deflection Technology" seems to be more gimick than anything, since I see just as many hopper hits on the Ricochet as on the Rev!! I don't think the balls ever really bounce off this thing...if it has any advantage at all it probably comes from the smaller profile of the loader...this coming at the cost of lower ball capacity!!! MHO!

so from peoples experience with this....is it about the same weight as a 12 volt revvy or heavier/lighter? i heard its sort of loud, is there anyways to tone it down? thanks alot.
Tony
i find it to be lighter than the 12v cause it only takes one battery
i have heard of some way to put foam in the speaker to tone it down but i am not sure how to do it
there are the 2k1'a or something coming out that have a mute function you might want to go to the web site and check it out'
the site is www.ricochet2k.com i think

i just got my today and ran a case through it, i loved it. however i was playing in a big game so i didnt need the timer but forgot to turn it off and it gave away my position to about 10 guys from the other team, ouch . . . hehe it did a fairly good job keeping up with me, though there were a few times when i out shot (only like twice) i really dig the ball counter and timer ;)

hey... they are great!
I used a 12v revy on my matrix and cocker for a while now... but this weekend, I bought a ricochet. (ordered a halo.. didnt feel like waiting... bought the ricochet.. ohh well... saved 50 bucks)
but the ricochet2k is cool. it is noticably faster than the 12v. it is lighter too... kinda back heavy though.
that mute button isnt for the noise of the actual loader. it is just for the timer noise. I didnt use the timer in the game. the shot counter was cool though. more of a novelty thing... I dont really care how many shots I took that game.
its good to see how many shots you can take per second.
the design didnt really 'ricochet' the ball, when hit. most of my eliminations were hopper hits.
a member (captain, I think) of an amature A team that is first in the pan am circut... Phoenix Heat... talked me into buying one. he owns the command post stores/ feilds in the phoenix area.... he was really helpful. his team uses them on their dark angels. I use mine on a matrix. it is cool. buy it.
