Just picked up a Defiant have ???s

I just traded my STO for a DEfiant and 45/45, and I am pretty happy, the only thing is, this gun is S-L-O-W. I have the manual and have messed with the dipswitches, and Id be willing to bet, it would be a chore to get it above 10bps. Is this normal, or is there some secret to the dip switches Im missing? Or is the board just capped that low. FYI, I own 2 Impulse, one with OTB frame and Vision, thats my main gun and it absolutley SMOKES so if any of you are thinking about the OTB for the Bushy, take it from me, it is very nice.

Also, how do I know how old the gun is, it has a green LED on the side. Can you tell by serial numbers like on an Impulse? Today it is getting torn down, need to know how it works!

man what aere they set at and do you have 4 or 8 dip swicthes ? also the defiant is a older design and it only goes to 13 bps and this is due to the board the internals could go up to 20 bps or more. and also if you have a eight dipswicths
make sure there all to the right thats sets if for 13 bps
also they were made in 1999 (i think) and what is the sn# mine is 3330

Has 8 switches and they are all to the right.. Oh well, Ill just run it in Auto mode for when I feel lazy. Impulse is my main gun, this is just anutter toy

Put a chaos chip in the defiant and it will eat your impulses alive.....What color is the gun? The older defiants had weird splash annodizing...the newer ones have fade annos

It is a Blue to Light Blue fade Serial #4690 I beleive, thats stamped right in front of the Reg.

Thats a second Gen defiant....I believe there are 3 gens....the 3rd being the newest
