Are there any rules on this board regarding punishment for defaming another user?

This PRORAPTOR dude comes onto my thread and makes some derogitory comment, so I respond and sh*t gets out of hand. He also claims he has proof that I made some obscene pm to him but I didn't. Now he is going onto threads I have posted on and is trying to give me a bad name by saying "he tries to rip off little kids".

That is not the case at all and I have explained that several times but he continues to ignore my posts and is now making untruthful, degrading and defamitory posts on threads that have nothing to do with where it all started.

I even made another thread with the same question but he felt the need to ruin that one too. I am open to comments on this but I would really like to see something do about this PRORAPTOR character.

I already pmed Simon Woodstock who mods the Indian Creek forum, but I guess he's busy. I talked to Vayporious as well but I got something like "you are just as guilty as he is"... considering he was the one who caused me to react.

I'm willing to give up my posting privilage to make SURE that he doesn't pull anything like this with anyone else.
