I just figured out why my Tigershark started leaking through the front. I have worn out springs, and it won't hold the cup seal tight enough to the valve cap. I was wondering if any springs would work in the Tigershark aside from the stock ones without any trouble. If I recall correctly, the stock spring combo in a Tigershark are stiffer than what you can find in most spring kits. I want to get the old warhorse back running so I can play direct feed pump again. (My local proshop has some tigershark barrels on sale that I wanna put to use too :D )

hey man, i had the exact same problem and i resolved it today. i had thought the same also, but you need to get automatic transmission fluid. Drop three drops in the constant air adapter (where the tank or the quick change adapter goes). Brass Eagle says to put in 3 drops, but it took more than that. Dry fire it a couple of times. It should seal the cup I went and bought springs too. Theres one in home dept by the door hinges that should fit (that is if all home depots are layed out the same).

Be sure to check the cup seal too, make sure there isn't any dirt trapped on the face of it.

As for springs, any nelson based spring kit will work fine. They usually come with 4 main springs, and 4 valve springs so you can mix and match for best velocity. I use the Straight Shot spring kit myself.

On a side note, I actually just picked up a t-shark players pack from pbgear for $15, and it also had a leak down the barrel. Turns out that the factory put too much loctite on the powertube threads, and some of it got on the cup seal, preventing it from sealing properly.

Uhh yeah my problem came back. i have a new valve spring, and cleaned everything. It looks like there needs to be a tighter seal between the valve retainer and the tube.
