Why are the only LPR's I see out there for Bushies (save one DYE LPR I saw once) are Micro rocks? I mean, PPS makes nice stuff and all, but I've heard that Impulses run better on like AN(u)S LPR's... why not Bko's? and... eegh... I've lost my train of thought...

Anyways, does anyone NOT use a Rock and have good results?

The micro rocks are by far the most popular LPR on the market they are proven to work great thats why they are used...

yep, they're very good. I like the new Zenitram hoseless MRA (micro-rock adapter). An autococker lpr like tat is nice because they can standup to higher input pressures, like the pressures for instance that may come to your gun from a blown inline reg. On the stock lpr, that kind of pressure would be almost guaranteed to lay waste to your solenoid. With a micro-rock, at least in theory (I've never seen anyone try to blow up their solly), they pressure might not make it the solly in such a high psi. Or at lesat, so I've heard/read.

People use the MicroRock because everyone KNOWS it works great.

But if you don't want to, you can use ANY regulator made for autocockers.

Thats only the hosed LPR combo...no one has tried to use a different LPR on the hoseless combo

That's because the hoseless design was made specifically for the Micro ROck.

Buy the FMD Adapter from Goldie or someone and you can use whatever LPR you want.

I know but other people are talking about using other LPR's with a hoseless setup like the AKA SCM

sounds like it would be safer to just get a micro-rock...

Micro-Rocks acutally work great on Impys, but you see they are now made a little fatter than back when they came out. Now, because of the "fattness", is that even a word, they are unable to fit on the VA of the Impulse. This is where the ANS comes in handy, because it is more skinny than the MR.

Just a little bit of useless SP information.
