Hey, your not the only one. We never get up that way, is the paintball any good there? What kind of ball you play? We play mostly tournament around Lima and Columbus. If there are any good tournaments up there let me know at www.thelamezone.com Does Bull Creek have a web site? Talk at you later

Go figure...I'm pretty much a recball player only. I don't get into speedball much. It's ok...but. And I've never played any tourneys.
As far as Bull Creek..yeah, it's a pretty good place to play. 2 speedball fields, 27 acres of regular woods fields (and a field called "Africa" which is pretty unique.) Two weekends ago they just had a tournament there, but I can't remember which league. It was one of the newer leagues. I think it's only about 2 years old (from what I remember a ref tellin' me.) For a link to their website, go to my site (I don't remember their's, but I have a link to it on my site:
homestead.juno.com/cmagrum
Just follow the "Paintball" link button on my homepage.
I really like Bull Creek. Decent prices, good games, and good refs. Check out the site for all the different games they play, and for pics.

Hey, nothing wrong with rec. ball. I'll never get ride of my BDU's, you never know when you will get to play in the woods:) My years playing rec. ball out numbers my turrny play 6 to 1. Bull Creek sounds good, I hope we can make it up there this year. If we do I'll send you an e-mail, maybe we will get the chance to play together. Oh yeh! How close is Defiance to you? I know they have a field there. don't know an addy, sorry. Talk at you later...

Dude! You live in Northwood!? I just moved from Northwood this past April (got married). I live down in BG now! Man...small world!
And yeah, Bull Creek is pretty darn cheap. If you buy their paint (about $18 for 1,000 count), your field fee is only $2. Ya can't beat that. Air refills are dirt cheap too.
And you're right TIP IS expensive. I don't care to play there. Did it once, but that was enough. I prefer outdoors, and woods over speedball anyway. But anywhoo...Northwood! Awesome! I went to Clay High School in Oregon, growin' up. (No wisecracks man.)
Hey, maybe I'll see ya down at Bull Creek some Sunday during walk on...I"ll be the guy with the Flatline that's cammie spray painted, and most likely wearing a boonie hat (or maybe a ghillie suit.)

Yeah...you can bring your own paint. Your field fee will be $7 if you do. If you buy their paint (reasonable prices...like...$17 for 500 I think), your field fee is only $2. Pretty darn cheap.
I won't be able to play for the next couple of weeks (need a break, need to not spend so much, and need to spend some time with the wife...) But maybe sometime soon we can hook up.
Woods. I LOVE woods. I LOVE the nervousness. I LOVE sneaking around and coming up on backs. Heh. I'll be posting some pics soon on my webpage of our church's last outing. Pretty sweet pics.

I'm from over by Port Clinton in Oak Harbor. I have never played anything other than the woods. I was just wondering if you painted your gun yourself or had it done because I want to get mine painted cammo. By the way the people I play with are always looking for mare people to play with.

Hey Cody...I painted my marker myself.
I used Rustoleum Camo colored paint. Khaki, Brown, and Olive Green. I put down two coats of the Khaki, then added 2 to 3 coats of the brown and green stripes. Then I put 3 coats of clear coat on top to help protect it. (It's gonna get scratched regardless, but it helps...) It's not hard to do really. Just remember to take out all the internals, and mask off what you do want to get paint on.
And you live in Oak Harbor? I've got a ton of relatives in Oak Harbor...does the last name of "Magrum" ring a bell? I'm a Magrum, and there's a ton of them in Oak Harbor. Remember Howard & Vern's service station? Those are my great uncles...
I'm only playing one more time this season, just so Knux and Cody know. My wife and I are trying to save for a house. I'll be playing at Bull Creek in Portage on October 21st. If you can come by, cool. I'll be the guy with the cammied Flatline, and ghillied boonie hat. Who knows, I may even where my whole ghillie suit. Heh. I probably won't be there until close to 2pm. Church comes first. ;)

I live in Toledo, Ohio myself. I regular Toledo Indoor Paintball and Toledo Action Games. Name is Ilya, I have been shooting a Spyder-Clone recently, but just bought a custom built autococker (built by Devaut). I might have played with you, Knux, before.
