i come on here and i quite often see diffrent people mentioning that to get a certain upgrade you need the right THREADS or somthing simmilar to those words

Threads are the machined threads that let your barrel screw on. You know the little corkscrew line on a screw? That's what fits into the thread of the hole. However, since it would have been far too simple to have one stanard kind of threads, companies invented their own. Spyder threads, for instance are a bit different from autococker threads, which are in turn different from mag threads, which bears NO resemblance whatsoever to the barrel mount system BE used on the Stingray (lock pins), which is in turn different from Tippmanns. Lapco makes thread adapters that will let you use Spyder threads on an autococker, etc. So when you buy a barrel, you gotta make sure the threads on it match up to the threads on your gun.

ahhhhhh,
over the pond we would call that the screw slot

eh

n e way i know now shouldn;t somebody like point this out?

wait they will probably ask why you would want to by diffrent parts and have them interconnect

n e way they should have a universal screw and lock system i think

like light bulbs you know they have the 2 little prongs

eh you might have diffrent light bulbs over there.

But thanks for answering my question

and yes i know this post was a complete load of babbel but i atleast thanked him soits not spam :)

They are capitilist pigs!! You buy their guns and then you have to buy *their* parts, barrels etc cos there isnt a standard.

They do it just to make sure that get your custom later on. Economics i think :D
