Well I'm no pro, but I've played a bit of speedball...

I think the most key tactic is the use of good team communication.
Help your team out by yelling out the location of the other team. Although it is easy to get a good veiw of a speedball field, many players will get tunnel vision on a particular opponent, or not be able to look out one side of thier bunker because of incoming fire.
It will help them out immensely if they can plan their next moves knowiung where the other team is.

If you can scout the field out ahead of time, draw a map of it and give a random name, number or letter to each bunker. then study them and you will be able to comminicate, in code, the location of the other team or where you are moving to.

Have codes for moves. If you yell out "Im going to charge that bunker to the left! Cover Me!" You will get lit up because the other team will know exactly what you are about to do. But if you say something like, "Alpha,(bunker location)Race!(Im charging)Pound!(cover me/lay down suppresive fire) 3! (in three seconds)"
"Alpha race pound 3" is not going to be understood by the other team. They might know you are up to something, but not what.

Before the game starts, make sure you have a plan for who will go to what bunker. try to work it so that you can all cover each other and work together.
Practice alot! Things like timing a mask shot over a bunker you can practice away from the field. Set up a small bunker in a safe location with a good backstop for shooting. Make a mask sized target on a stick and have you team take turns shooting at it while another holds it behind the bunker and moves it to simulate somone sticking thier head out to take a look or a shot. This will help you time your shots. Keep track of your scores and try to get better.

Play paintball skeet! Have a friend throw a volley ball or other ball and shoot at it from different angles. This will help with your snap shooting and with tracking and leading a moving target.

There are other things you can do, use your imagination and try to simulate things that will happen in a game.

when your opponent is behind a bunker and you are trying to advance and bunker him, shoot his bunker once a second untill u are at a different bunker where he thinks you are not or just run up to him and shoot him.

1) COMUNICATE! i was with a joe guy (2vs2) and i was back he was frontish middle and we comunicated but my dad and bo (on the other team) lost so bad it wasn't even funny.

2) STAY BEHIND YOUR COVER! i was watching this one team playing some 'sup air/hyperball (they were mixed with hyperballthings and sup air in one field) and they ALWAYS were at least 1/2 outta the bunker and they lost so bad it wasn't even funny.

3) be fast.

4) be smart. i don't like being dumb.

5) don't cheat. cheaters are *** and should not exist.

Though it's old, use a clock as key terms. As for distance compare it to a football field. It would be like 9-75. A teammate would then now that the player is to their left and pretty far forward. Another tactic we use in 3-man is the traingle. Send two men up either sides, when they begin to flank have the third player run right up the middle. It gives the enemy no choice except to fall back.

Get into a front bunker as fast as possible. Preferably you'll want to be at least on their 40. If you have good back men playing, your position will force the other teams back men on you. While their on you your back men should be able to take them out with relative ease.! Hope this was some help to you.

Never come out the same side of your bunker too many times in a row. If you come out the same side all the time they know where to shoot. Also, try not to come over the top of your bunker.

If you see some guy running down the field like crazy, if it is a good team, most likely there is a bunkering move going on some where, that person is a disstraction, check the other side of your bunker to see if somebody is about to bunker you. Also this might be a distraction for the other team to get the flag.
