hey i was wondering how much the rt is worth its money to a rec/scenario sniper with a flatlined a-5

Sniper = 1 shot 1 kill.
RT = 500 shots 1 kill.

If you have good accuracy you can go to rt but if you have bad you'll just waste paintballs with the rt.

Well, since paintballs are inaccurate, With or without the flatline, you aren't going to hit your target right where you want on your first shot (Especially while remaining hidden at a great distance). So, you really need to fire more than 1 ball at your opponent. RT will come in handy this way. You must watch out for your field owners though, some may not allow it.

Anyway, there are tons of reviews on THIS website to get other peoples opinions.

Responce is fine for rec ball - but a pain to get into any normal field. I would advise against it.

Well since you stated that you are a senerio sniper with flatline ...I'd say not really worth it to you. Unless you would like to be a fire support / sniper guy ;p Also gotta put the additional air usage into you marker setup.

Ok the Flat Line and the rt are fine upgrade but together they suck. the rt fires so fast that the come out in a brocken glob not cool. the FL works great for one balling and the RT is great for unloading your hopper and air tank but to gether is horid

Welcome to the fourms 17thpunk! Not sure if you've used an A5 response with a flatline, but I've never heard of them breaking many balls. In fact, in the last scenario I played my team finished a mission and were retreating while an A5 flatline unloaded his hopper + 3 more pods without any breaks.

and just because abrrel is curved doesnt mean it prevents you from shooting alot at once/

something about like 200bps + to get 2 balls in the bareel at once

ya i do as a matter of fact. i have a-5 with a rt and fl and the only way i could get it to shoot right was to turn the pressure down to about 275 fps other wise the balls would break in the barrel and come out a a brocken glob. and at 275 fps i could still shoot farther thatn most guns but at that range with the pressure so low most of the balls bounced. just stick with a empire 14'' twister, more accurite at close range and at mid range plus at long range if you hit someody the bal will break not bounce.

what where you running it at, 320!? Flatlines as stated by tippmann "Works best at around 280" I think it is tippmann that said that. But anyway 275-280 is what you are supposed to run it at, im wondering about how much you really know also. :dunce:

so whats a good expansion chamber that would work well and not get in the way of the forward pistol grip

or should i get a regulator?

You run remote? If so get a female(I think it's female) Palmer Stabilizer to replace your bottom line, problem solved. I am also wondering about the guy who said his R/T Flatline sucked, but then again it was fine when he turned his velocity down to where it was supposed to be......hehe. Maroon.

Get a Vertical Adapter and either an ACI 6-stage Expansion Chamber or a Male Palmer Stabalizer. The Expansion Chamber won't do as much as the reg, but it's cheaper.

Either way, get an Anti-Siphon installed.

The R/T is pretty nice to have but don't plan on entering any torunaments with it installed. Pretty much all tournaments won't allow R/Ts because they can be set to go pretty much full auto.

im not much of a tourney person--never even played speedball. all i do is rec ball on the field my ucle owns and scenario play

the fields i do go to dont have anything against the rt but they just say to go easy on it and keep it set fairly low
