The Sickness, when u played in the tourney, i had the my onw version of the revy mod, its unbelievable

For all of u who are to lazy to buy an evolution paddle, im the person to talk to. I did a ballwacker mod with the regular 12 volt paddle, and now it has 8 paddles. ITs beatufil, it feeds extremely fast. Vern has given me permision ot post this info on the site, but ill o itlater on. If u really need to know, pm me and ill type it out when i have a spare moment

it sounds like it will work fast. should i save somw money and by a 9v and do this or just by the 12v and do it anyway

I just did my own test on my 12v revy with xboard. i used the stock paddle, evolution paddle, and the weedwacker mod.

With 100 balls in the hopper heres what they did. The times below are the time it took to empty the hopper.

WeedWacker Paddle Mod.

1. 11.23 Seconds
2. 10.52

4. 11.12

11.24secs/8.89Bps

Evolution Paddle Mod.

1. 9.98 Seconds

Remeber these are not perfect timings. i used my eyes and a stop watch. I will have a turborevy in a few weeks ill post about that soon. too.

this seems nice but if you have the money then just get a ricochet 2K motorized hopper. it already has soft propeller blades with special tips. there is also a new hopper out called the ricochet AK model instead of 2K and it doesnt have the LCD display but it still works exactly the same and its $20 less then the 2K.

you can put some heat shrink wire cover on there and it would be like the rico. i have a rico and love it but my brothers rev is a pos. i might have to try this.

hey anyone know statixtics of ballwhacker mod compared to a vortex impeller?

A friend has the Ball Whacker and it's nice, better than the stock paddles for sure, he did it with eggolution propeller that he got for gift, the thing that he had to work on was the ends of the strings becuase they sometimes cut/break the balls, that's with an x-board. I tried his in my reg. revy it works nice no cut balls, he then melt the ends later so they are rounded now. I prefer the vortex impeller, it's better on those last 20balls as they said, for the price of a eggolution paddle, the time, and some ppl don't have the tools, the vortex is a better choice in my case because I didn't have the correct size for drilling the holes in a nice way, no weed string, and I didn't have an eggolution paddle(gee I love to make fun of that loader) so instead of ordering one from dropzone.com and going to search for that stuff in the stores and my already very few spare time, I got the Vortex Impeler. I can't tell you how faster it feeds in numbers but I feel a little difference. But the ballwhacker is a LOT better than the stock paddles or the heated and bended eggolution paddles (he did it before making the ball whacker).

I made one of these last night and it works great. It feed so much faster. I even tried putting it in my old evolution and it seemed to improve that hopper. It did not jam at all. I know the evolution is a hunk of junk but this ball wacker makes it better. I ordered a 12v with a x-board and I am going to put a ball wacker in that also. This is a great mod to your hopper. It was really easy to make to. I strongly reccomend it.

Lets say i attempted this w/ the regular propeller thingie in my revy would i have to square of the inside or just cut off the little 4 litlle stick things , drill the 6 holes, and cut out the weedwhacker cord, and then thread it thru. Plz tell me cuz i like the way it looks.

did a freak mod (my line of mods) to the paddles and the hopper
the weed wacker stuff on the padles hels get balls moving better
the stuff in tha back helps balls move twords the hole at odd angles
im looking to do more, just have to think of stuff

How did u make one that used to have 4 paddles to 8??? thats ****ing sweet i wanna do that to my revvy but im afraid of ruining the warrenty cuz i just got it like a week or so ago :(

You dont have to follow the directions exactly, just put one extra peice in there and VOILA! Youve got 8 instead of 6.

Does the modded vortex Impeller actually work better? It looks like the the weedwacker pieces just do needless stirring up there. Who needs to move the balls way up there? It looks kinda cool.... but not enough to do the work and have ppl tell me that was a retarded waste of time. does it work?

I have an impeller and the original 4 paddel thingy, wouldn't it be a good to sand down the neck of one and plug it in the impeller so one is on top of the other?

hey i havent taken the time to c if anyone else said this but that is almost the same thing as the agitator in the riccochet. they both have weedwacker lines in there to feed, only difference in a rico is that there are 4 arms not 6.
this is another reason why the riccochet feeds faster than the revvy. (i have a revvy, but i still admit the rico is faster)

I was just wondering. How exactly do soft wires stir up the balls? I would think they flex when they hit the balls , or are weedwacker wires pretty strong?

THat was a FREE FALL test. Not in gun. The ricochet will outfeed a reevvy on a gun b/c the revvy feeds when there isn't paint. The ricochet will just feed when the gun is fired

Maybe you meant to say "Not on gun. The ricochet will outfeed a revvy on a gun because the revvy motor will stop spinning as soon as a paintball gets in front of the eye. The ricochet will spin a full rotation every time the gun is fired, thus ensuring that the stack is fully loaded."

Ive got a 12v revy with x board green gem series and it has the new style of paddles so the dont rub and they catch the balls at the top and bottom of the hopper. It is a four bladded (like the old) but the paddles bend up about 60 degrees for more efficient feeding.l Ime sure some of you know this but I know that the old ones dont have this.
And it works very well.
