How good are the smoke stakes and are they needed with a elctro hopper?

Well, if you're thinking about putting it on a piranha, think again. :P A smokestack on a gun like yours, where there already is a feedneck that is not cocker threaded and is "hopper ready" (meaning you don't have to put an elbow on it to make it fit), then all a smokestackwill do is increase your feedneck size.

I don't think it's needed. And if you have a HALO-B or EggII, it's actually bad for your feed rates.

They are great for guns like Spyders, that have the little "feednecks," and the Smokestack replaces any plastic elbow w/ a permanent Evil one.

They're also good for cockers, if you wanna replace your stock (threaded one) w/ an Evil, and slightly taller one.

IMO smokestacks are too big and put ur hopper to high. I think lo rises are the way to go, esspecially with newer revis, egg's and halos, u dont really need high ball stacks.
