I was wondering if there is any drills or practicing that doesn't invovle shooting paint? If you haven't noticed paint is not cheap.

You could always do contitioning, being in shape is always important in any sport. As for drills you could buy those re-usable plasic paintballs

From what i've heard, they don't fly the same as a paintball.

There was a thread in the Strategies and Tatics forum this past week asking the same question.

You can't really do much other than target practise with the plastic practise rounds. From what I've heard they bounce all over.

you could do drills for moving from bunker to bunker.

run, slide, run more, and slide more, practice what you know you don't need to do with paint

In these to drills, you'll have to use balls, but not as much.

1. a good ole game of terminator. But the non-terminator side doesnt have guns.

2. Practice moving and shooting at the same time. It is tricky for me to hit a target on most of my shots when Im running forward.

just playing with your trigger, and getting a faster trigger finger, practice sliding, and moving from bunker to bunker, popping out and exposing as little as possible

Practice loading. All it takes is enough paintballs to fill up the hopper/pods

Practice speed loading, left handed, right handed, crouching, standing, lying down, while walking, running, jogging, sliding.

Practice loading blindfolded/upside down/immersed in water etc.

You get the idea.

if you have air, you can practice shooting opposite handed.

Back on topic...

I practice snapshooting sometimes with Laser Guns, I taped a Mountain Dew bottle on the back of the laser gun as a HPA tank, and I duct taped a vl 200 on top:)

Then, I hung the laser vest up in different places, got behind my bunker, and started snap shooting...

Its not exactly realistic, but it works:P

just pull that trigger, as fast as you can, whenever possible. watching tv? pull it. having a snack? pull it. you have no idead how much this helps, you'll increase your pull rate like crazy.
