i recently purchased a strange impulse off of ebay. when i took it to the feild for the first time i was getting around 190 fps on the chrono. i tried adjsuting the maxflo which was set around 160 and i bumped that up to 200 and adjsuted the jackhammer lpr and the dwell but that only got it up to 220 on the chrono. what do you think is wrong? after i walk the gun about 10-12 shots in the pressure feels like its dropping on the gun. what do you tihnk is wrong and is there any pointers since i'm new to impulses and how ot adjsut them. thanks!

1st. try changing the battery
2nd. Clean and lube everything that needs it.
If u need help, head over the www.impulseownersgroup.com and read some of the FAQ's and sticky's. Everyhting you need should be there.

strip down the max-flo and clean & relube it, that is what maybe wrong, then adjust your preassure and dwell as desired, it will also help to lube the valve, and hammer assembly

You COULD do that .... or wait till youre within 10 feet of the other team, then shoot em. :D

but it may fall at the teams feet if you are 10 feet away, better stick you gun 60* up into the air if you want to hit them from 10ft. away;)

yes, check ur dwell. see where u r set. start at 7 & keep going up a cleak til u reach the desired velocity. u should not have to go higher than 12. if so, ur LPR needs to be turned up to about 140psi if u have a guage.

I had the same problem with an airsoft gun that wouldnt go 20 feet.
Heres what I did.
Start sprinting towards your opponent, and when youre running as fast as possible, jump, and at full height, go like to throw a rock at PBkiddCH1 but instead, pull the trigger.
This should increase your range nicely.

Congradulations, you made it!
As far as velocity is concerned. If you have an LPR, try using any one of the methods for adjusting velocity on www.mipaintball.com in the FAQ and article section.
Or for the easy route, set the input to 190 psi, adjust the dwell to 4 clicks from the longest dwell possible, then adjust the LPR until you get the appropriate velocity. Start with that and then come back if you have any problems.
Just remember to keep your input under 200 psi, unless you can measure your LPR pressure.
