Paintball ghosts

This has got to be the freakiest pic ive ever taken. Basically i was at a field going 1 on 1 with this guy who was using my bro's paintball gun, my brother took several pictures, in the picture im posting now, im the kid next to the yellow bunker, but to the right and up theres a red circle, inside is a strange looking face. When the image is sharpened, the face is much more clear. I will post some more images, I have one that is like a half face hard to see, coming out from the inside of a deflated bunker, and another one of eyes and a face sticking out of the side of a bunker.

UPDATE:

If you want the original pictures I will post it, it appears to belong to no poles, and another picture took from the same angle only half of the face appears, maybe it has to do with lighting, but i dont remember anything shiny up there, really freaky stuff, the owners will be interested to know their field might be haunted.

I have another pic where like the top half is there but the bottom half isn't, but its in the same spot, i dont think it was a paintball.

But in the same respect I also see what you're talking about and I'd have to probably see it firsthand (and not over the computer) to really get the full effect...

they dont sell white paintballs, definately wasn't a paintball ,its just a white blob floating, when sharpened it makes out eyes and a mouth, I have several other pics with wierd faces, I will sharpen them up and post them when I get home, just ask if you want the originals.

Actually they kinda do sell white paintballs. I remember seeing some at 888paintball. I think they were 32 degrees.

It could be a smudge on the camera because he keeps putting his finger on the lense; however, I do see what you are talking about. The face doesn't look like it goes in with the rest of the surroundings. Looks like a paintball residue or someone wiped a booger on the screen that's between you and the camera. It gives the optical illusion that it is actually behind you but it's really on the mesh screen.

I think that got put there when he drew in the circle.

I think it was all rigged. That's just a guy standing on the handle of the Gazeebo behind him. the finger is like, why would I rig a photo with a finger in it? and he wanted to sell this pic to APG and then BE was gonna name a gun after him so he would be like YEAH! and we would be like OHH.

I now think it's paint splatter on the safety net. It gives the optical illusion that it's behind him but it's really on the net between the camera and the player.

I actually took that picture, was reffing a game with my brother and the ref that worked at navvare and they wanted a 1 on 1 so I volunteered, in the process took pictures just to show some friends what paintball was like and my brother was over at the bunker having an all out fight so figured I'd take a picture and then when we went to hook up the digital camera to develop the pictures there was some weird shape in some of the pictures and we sharpened it to see if it was a possibly problem with the camera or what, my brother scott started saying "I think it's a ghost". Some of those pictures do freak me out but I think it's just some kinda problem with the camera, he just circled it to point it out, we have more pictures I'll ask him to post it once I get out of school.

It looks like nothing. I mean, heck, it could be just an edit error, paint splatter, a setup, just some little thing and your using your imagination. But w/e, theres too many answers to this mystery.

Maybe you guys should research and see if the field is built on a cemetery or something. That'd be pretty odd. There's plenty of things everywhere that looks like something, but it isn't. It could be just some garbage bag and maybe a paintball or shell or something else that's red.

By the way, PILMAN, where do you play around Fort Walton? Navarre Paintball?

I LMOA, and then I looked at what the guy was talking about, and hloy crap! it does look like a face! compare the photo shoped pic with the origanal. That red dog isn't there, and now it looks like a guys face.

The big white ghost is Diablo dusk paintball splatter on the safety net in front of the camera. It's not behind the player. The guy probably already knows this and is getting a big laugh about it right now. It even looks like he took the picture through the safety net.

Cindy, me and pil play at hurlburt field in maryester and in Navarre Paintball Adventures in Navarre, what we are going to do is take pictures of the same spots and see if they turn out the same. The garbage bag theory is starting to make me think though, it could have been, maybe your on to something ;)

yeh i think i've seen that one, but it's photocropped. uh imean photoshopped. my friend's taking a class in forged pictures and they analized them.

this isn't faked at all, it could be a misconception but all we did was develop the picture and found a blur wanted to try to get rid of it and sharpened it to look at it a bit more closely was a T kinda shape and it actually looked very disturbing and looked a little closer looked like a ghost or something. I wasn't behind the netting infact where the "object is" where my brother also is by that bunker thats where you first enter onto the course then thats about 300 feet of land past that I was standing on the outside of the pipes where the machine is to inflate the bunkers and I was just taking pictures of the guy my brother was facing for a few friends to come and try paintball with us next week, in the process we were disapointed as most of the pictures didn't turn out too good and some infact were too far of shots or too close...

i've seen a real ghost on camera :), it comes out as a scratch like thing on the film i know it's not the camera, cus my friend and i both shot it w/ apoleroid different ones then after we saw it on the poleroids we took real cameras and digital, it scares me to this day..

Maybe you should show the picture to the guy who was behind the bunker. You did say that picture was of your brother's opponent, right? If it really is a ghost, people tend to feel some sort of strangeness whenever there's one near them. So he could probably help a little on confirming whether or not it really is a ghost.

Well it seems the majority of people think it's a ghost. I see black legs protruding from the face. My theory is void if you didn't take the picture THROUGH the safety net. I thought that the paintball splat would be 2 inches away from the camera if that's what it was. It's like looking through a window with a sticker of the incredible hulk. You could make it look like the incredible hulk was attacking a car in the distance. All you see is a 2d surface; thus it makes the object appear bigger the closer it is to the camera. I think the black legs could be creases in the starting box. That's what it looks like to me. It is just a theory of mine that seems to make sense. It's as blurry as a lochness or bigfoot photograph by the way.

lol, it was me behind the bunker, and something wierd happened as I surrendered and walked off the field, my opponent fired 3 more paintballs at me( i was the one behind the bunker) and they like just bounced off the back of my leg. Didn't even hurt, but earlier in the game, i got hit in the side of the head and it hurt, but didn't break, these other ones just bounced right off and i barely felt it.

Scottc1988, that could've been just coincidence, but yeah, it is odd. I still say you should research the history of the area the paintball field is on. Ghosts don't just wander where they feel like, they have certain areas to haunt for certain reasons or at least that's what Mr. Discovery Channel told me.

I bet you were shooting fp severe or team colors paint. Fp severe is really hard marble paint. Team colors just doesn't break. Both paints have a white fill sometimes.

A while back, I went and played a tourney on a temporary field in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. It was built about where the most deaths in the Civil War had taken place. The field was a hyper pipe field. And that night we took a ghost tour. The guide said that every night he could here the dead soldiers doing stuff in that area, but whenever the pipes were there, they heard gunshots instead of noises. As if they were practicing on the field. I found it creepy, because it kinda smelled like dead animal. Maybe they will have the tourney again. I think it was built on a place called cemetary hill. Just the right name!

I doubt they would put a field on cemetary hill, or anywhere on a Gettysburg battle field for that matter

Something weird happened last night. It was utterly silent. All of a sudden everything moved that was metal in succesion in a row. First lamp snapped, then my eblade RDL made a noise, then my tools started jostling a little, then on the other side of my head my window made a cracking sound, then outside the fence made a springing noise. Weird electromagnetic pulse or something. I had a headache and couldn't sleep well after that. It was all in a row, like a wave.
