hey...it's me again. I always have plenty of questions..... hopefully they'll get answered sooner or later. This question is about the rear cocking and rear velocity adjusters for the 98 Custom. I'm trying to decide whether or not to get a full boar being that it has the RC and RVA or would a rocket cock and a Psycho Ballistics RVA be a better buy? i know going with the latter would be a bit more expensive but i've heard stuff about the full boar falling apart. Is this true? I've also heard about a new full boar coming out soon that is said to be flush cocking. Anyone know about this? If so, maybe I'll wait for that. Ohh yeah, one more question.....if i were to go with the full boar or a PB RVA, would i have to cut the spring a bit?....cause i really don't wanna.
another thanx to ya.

I have a prototype of the new full boar kit on my M98. It's great.

It should sell for about $50. According to the folks at Full Boar, I should have some in stock within a few weeks.
Once I have a definite in-stock date, I'll put them on my website for pre-orders.

From the pictures it looks like it could be a winner. So is it manufactured out of plastic?.....hopefully full boar is making it out of a light metal like aluminum. So is it actually flush cocking? It looks like it is but i'm trying to figure out where those two metal rods on the sides go. Look like they're kinda long for flush cocking. Also does it come with a rear velocity adjuster? and if so, would the spring have to be cut a bit, and can it be adjusted with your thumb or an allen wrench?
you da man. :D
ohh yeah...what's that black thingy on the rear bolt? Is it a totally different rear bolt?

Yes, it's flush cocking. You pull it back once (the one photo is the pulled back position) then push it back in. Once in, it stays in.
It does have an RVA. This one is much easier to access than on the original Full Boar.
It's made of metal. You replace the old rear cocking bolt with this new system. The bolt is incorporated into the RC/RVA.
I don't think the spring would have to be cut. You'd have to chrono to determine that.

The full Boar is easy to install and very durable. I like how it look due to the beaver tail
