i just would like to know what you think is a good barrel for cockers in the $100 range
I have shot Lapco barrels on my spyder and love them. The J and J has recieved a large amount of good reviews from magazine reviewing the black magic and Smart parts barrels are awesome. You may be able to get a Boomstick for 100 I'm not sure but if you can I would go for it. You get everything you pay for. Dye's aluminum and Stainless Steel barrels are supposed to be awesome too. But my opinions would lean toward the Boomstick and The freak

save up alittle longer and get a freak. otherwise just get a inexpensive 12inch barrel for the time being and put the rest of the money into something else.

I really like Dye. (not because its dye and everyone likes them)
I have used lots of barrels (I have a Dak still. don't use it but i kept it because the company went under and you can't get them anymore) I used to swear by J&J or Boa but then came Dye and I have never looked back. I still use my original 97 Dye and have never felt a need to even get a boomstick yet because this one has always been really wicked. (shes dinged but I'll never give it up)
Also put the Dak in there.
Custom Products barrels are very nice too. You could two for that much and have difference lenghts and bore diameters.
