It was not until after I had allready bought my barrel that I heard things about longer barrels have friction issues.
Is a 16in dye boom ok on a norm pressure autococker?

It's a longer than I like but it shouldn't cause you any problems. The effective length of a barrel is from the breech to the first porting holes. The length after the first hole to the end of the barrel is where you run into friction problems. The Boomsticks aren't real bad. It also depends on how tight your paint is in your barrel.
