Purchased new marker today!

I'm pretty excited about my new Spyder AMG LCD.

I got the eVLution II loader.

Metal tower for the loader instead of the plastic that came with the gun.

Two 20 ounce tanks with anti siphon and on/off valves installed.

Morph mask.

Case of Chronic paint.

Couple of mops for the gun/Barrel.

Extra oil, o-rings and 9.6 volt rechargeable batteries.

Going to be doing a bit of reading tonight and playing with the settings ect. So far I'm very happy, everything works perfectly. It shoots real good.

I have a pic but it's to big :( :(

just resize the picture, oh yeh sounds like a good setup. u'll be happy with the eggy ii.

Sure I COULD have got a nice Impulse with no tank(s), no loader, no mask, no paint, no swabs, no batteries, no spare o-rings, no oil............

Right now I have everything I need to play and have fun.

the reson i say this is not to make fun, or to tell you you made a terible desision. Its because im showing you that if you are willing to spend that much money why not get a higher end marker? i did the same thing, 550$ on an e-ranger(hybrid blowback) it was a waist because i just ended up wanting a high end marker, then when i wanted to sell it no one wanted to buy it, and i ended up spending another 600 on my cocker..:( although that is an awsome set up i think you would have been happier with a higher end gun espesialy if you were willing to dish out the cash like that for it. but have fun and i think you will enjoy it none the less HAPPY PAINTBALLING!

He already bought the gun, no sense in making him miserable. What's important is that you have a gun. Again, welcome to the world of paintball. :D

How much "better" of a gun will I (a complete newb) even be able to notice?

I've played once so far.

I may play 12-18 times a year.

IF I get to where I play a couple times a month, I'll buy the tricked out Impulse, but for now I'm completely happy.

if your happy w/ the gun you've got then it doesn't matter. Even though you are a complete newb, as you put it, you'll still probably have played enough to noticed a difference. I've only played 5 times (all in the last month though) and I just couldn't stand my piranha sts 2k3, but then again i had a lemon and i traded it in for the gun in my sig.

I'll end up tricking this Spyder AMG out till there is nothing left to trick.

Then I'll sell it or maybe keep it for backup and buy the latest greatest marker that's the latest rage.

It made more sense to me to spend a little bit of $$ first just to get into it, learn the lingo, learn what each upgrade does for the marker etc.

If I had purchased the tricked out Impulse right off the bat, I wouldn't have anything to post about! :D

By the time I'm done tricking out this Spyder It'll be a $1000 marker....LOL.

I'm starting to have some fun with it now that I've found some pepole who are willing to put up with my questions and take the time to help me out.

i ono about 1000 bucks...but you could get it to like 550 or so, then when u try to resell it'd be like 375:laugh:


yeh i bought a marker to start with wasnt' able to upgrade it, but oh well i got another base marker just a betterquality one w/ way more parts to upgrade.
