I'm new to paintball, well kind of. I know about most of the parts and language. I have a Tippmann A5, just bought a Proteus 2 mask, and will be getting a 14 inch Dye Ultralight barrel. What should I get next? I'm thinking about a xchamber or a regulator. Whats the difference and what should I get? or is there a different upgrade I should get instead? Also should I get two 14 oz CO2 tanks or just one 20 oz CO2 tank?...my brother and I have never ran out of CO2 with the 14 oz tank. I as thinking of getting 2 of those and have one for a backup. I use that instead of the 20 b/c its lighter. I only play woodsball again for the people who didn't know
are the regulators and xchambers universal or do you have to buy specific ones for your gun?

Whats the difference and what should I get? the difference is, x-chambers are useless and regs aren't. regs are crucial for maximum accuracy. or is there a different upgrade I should get instead? no, a reg's a good start. Also should I get two 14 oz CO2 tanks or just one 20 oz CO2 tank?...my brother and I have never ran out of CO2 with the 14 oz tank. are the regulators and xchambers universal or do you have to buy specific ones for your gun? any male regulator (most regs are male) will fit in a standard asa, the same you'd screw your tank into. palmer direct stabs, palmer female stabs, non-inline max flo reg, and thor regs are not male.

what regulator do you recomend? or do they all work the same, I'd rather have top quality so I dont have to keep upgrading.

well they WORK the same, but by the same token they also dont' work exactly as good as each other. For co2, bob long torpedo is a great great choice taht won't break the bank.
